after researching options to clean my front loader washing machine seal, I chose this product, which resembles gel Clorox bleach. The gel stays on mold longer than a spray, but during my first use, I left it on overnight, and it dried on the seal, requiring extra cycles to remove it. It only removed about 15% of the mold. However, after a second application with Clorox Tilex, the seal improved to around 60% cleanliness. While the product may work, it requires multiple bottles for significant results. My washing machine is over 10 years old, and the seal has never been deep cleaned, so progress has been slow.

worked well, but the smell is strong and lingers even after washing my hands multiple times. It doesn’t include a special applicator, and breaking the seal was difficultI had to stab it, making a mess. However, it does improve grout appearace significantly in just a few hours

It will certainly eliminate the mold and improve the appearance significantlyand for a short time. However, in about two weeks, it returns just as severely as it was prior to application. Unless you’re prepared to buy a new bottle each month (it barely covered two treatments in our small shower, likely just enough for one treatment in a bathtub), you’ll still need to tackle the laborious job of removing all the old caulk and replacing it if you genuinely want to resolve the issue.
