I can maybe see a slight improvement in one spot, but most of the mold staining around the gasket did not budge. Not the result I was expecting after leaving it on that long.

I’ve become skeptical of Amazon reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with a cleaner that really worked on the mold buildup in my front-load washer’s rubber gasket. After trying several products without success, I decided to give this one a shot based on positive reviews.
When it arrived, I had to remove the applicator tip to apply the gel directly with gloves. I was shocked by the mold I found and applied the gel generously, letting it sit overnight. The next morning, the improvement was clear, and a second application helped with any missed spots.
While some tiny areas may need a toothbrush scrub, the results were impressive. Just a tip: be ready to maneuver a bit for full coverage, and you might need multiple applications. We now wipe the gasket after each wash and leave the door open to dry. I highly recommend this product!

Initially, I had my doubts since I had experimented with various methods to eliminate the stains in my front load washer. Nevertheless, I decided to give this product a shot. I followed the instructions but let it sit a bit longer than suggested. After using a damp cloth to wipe it clean, I was genuinely surprised by the improvement. I believe that with a few more applications, it will look even better! I highly recommend this if you’re facing a similar problem.

The shower grout wasn’t sealed properly, making it hard to clean. The photos show before and after applying the product, but even after 6 hours, I see no difference.

I have cleaned the inside of my washing machine countless times. With three kids in sports, particularly my boys involved in activities that generate heaps of laundry, my machines see a lot of action. I’ve experimented with various products to tackle the mineral deposits from our local water supply that have accumulated in the washing machine over time. I attempted to snap a picture of my washing machine without appearing in the reflection, which is why the angle looks a bit odd. It’s a large machine that didn’t come cheap. Moreover, we installed an extensive filtration system in our home because, as mentioned, our town’s water is mineral-rich. While it’s safe, it can turn faucets and toilet sides a blackish hue. This issue also impacts the water in both our washing machine and dishwasher. The filtration does a decent job but isn’t completely effective against the deposits. Initially, I scrubbed the interior of the machine with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and then applied Active Seal and Grout Stain Remover. The instructions indicated letting it sit until it formed a gel, which takes about three to five hours. I got sidetracked and returned to it after about seven hours. Once again, I donned gloves and cleaned the inside of my washing machine. I strangely enjoy the scent of cleaning products, a quirk of mine. After removing the gel, I ran the washing machine empty on a hot, short cycle. It eliminated the majority of the black deposits that have frustrated me for years! While it didn’t achieve a perfect result hence not a five-star rating it performed impressively. I plan to repeat the process today. This product surpasses all the tablets I’ve previously tried. I’d highly recommend it. For the “normal person” who doesn’t mind a few stray hairs on their hardwood floors, this would be a win, but I admit I’m a bit of a cleanliness fanatic. I would definitely purchase this again, as it has outperformed any tablet I’ve tested, and I’ve tried plenty.
