How to Clean Your Appliances With ACTIVE
Washing Machine Cleaner Instructions
- Ensure Washing Machine is Empty
ACTIVE Washing Machine Cleaner should be used by itself in an empty washer.
Do not add clothing or other cleaning products. - Add 1 Tablet Directly Into the Washer Drum
Remove the wrapper and place the tablet into the washer drum.
Do not put the tablet into the detergent dispenser tray. - Run the Washing Machine on Normal Cycle with Hot Water
We recommend using hot water on “normal” mode to fully clean the machine. If your machine has an option for load size, choose “large” or the highest available setting.
For washers with a “clean washer” setting, use that mode.
- After Cycle is Finished, Use a Towel to Wipe the Seal
For front load washers, some of the grime may accumulate in the door seal. Wipe it off after the clean cycle is finished.
Leave washer door open to air it out.
Dishwasher Cleaner Instructions
- Ensure Dishwasher is Empty
ACTIVE Dishwasher Cleaner should be used alone in an empty dishwasher.
Do not use this product with dishes in the machine. - Add 1 Tablet in the Detergent Dispenser Tray
Remove the tablet from the wrapper and place it in the detergent dispenser tray.
Do not add detergent or other cleaners. Use only one tablet at a time. - Run the Dishwasher on a “Normal” Wash Cycle
For dishwashers with a “clean” option, use that setting. - Open the Dishwasher Door and Let it Air-Dry
Repeat this process twice a month to keep your dishwasher clean and fresh.
Note, for the first cleaning or extra dirty dishwashers, you may need to repeat the steps above to achieve a full clean.
Washing Machine Cleaner FAQ

We cook at home almost every night, so our dishwasher gets loaded with everything from dried sauce on plates to greasy pans and coffee mugs that have been sitting around all day.
