Scene: We have 3 male cats, one with a bladder issue and one who is too young to be neutered, who are all in an ABC contest along with two (stinky) pitbulls. They all love the couch and steal every blanket we have, so you can imagine the laundry and the “just can’t get that last bit of cat out of the blanket” odor. 🤢 I found this at Walmart and figured, what do I have to lose? I had a stack of clothes that one of our cats peed on and I honestly thought they were done for. Regular detergent, vinegar, extra rinse cycles, nothing fully removed the smell. I soaked everything first with this powder and then washed like normal. When it came out of the dryer there was no cat pee smell at all. I kept smelling the clothes later because I didn’t believe it, but it was actually gone.
