I had mold that seemed to be growing inside the silicone, not just on top of it. This gel is thick enough that it really penetrates the surface to pull the stain out from the root.

I used to try to soak cotton balls in bleach and tape them to the wall, what a mess. This is basically the same thing but way easier to apply. It’s thick enough that it clings to the ceiling of the shower without dripping in your eyes.
