That depends on the type of grips and how much grime they’re exposed to. In general, a monthly cleaning for most grips is enough.

Heavily used grips or grips that are exposed to lots of grime (dirt-bike handlebar grips, for example) may require more frequent cleaning.

After spraying this cleaner onto your grips, any kind of cotton or microfiber towel should work fine. We do not recommend using paper towels since they tear easily and may leave behind residue.
