I was pretty skeptical about this stuff, but it actually works! Usually, my gym clothes would seem clean after the wash, but after I put them on, I could tell that they still smelled MUSTY within 10 minutes of sitting in class or into my workout. I have tried everything to get that “musty” smell out of my exercise clothes. I sweat…a LOT and work out 5-6 days a week at OTF, which those of you who do, understand how much you sweat during that one hour. tights and sports bras…gross. This detergent works well to wash out the odor/dirt. It does not irritate skin and it smells great! Definitely recommend this detergent for active clothes as well as any other clothes. I’ve starting using it with my clothes as well and I love the smell and clean feeling of it!

Washing your workout clothes isn’t the same as cleaning your everyday clothing. The former has unique properties that make traditional detergent a less-than-ideal choice.
In fact, using regular laundry soap can do more harm than good to your favorite yoga pants or running shirt. For one thing, these detergents often leave behind residue, which traps sweat and oils and causes those persistent unpleasant smells.

Soaking my clothes for several hours is the best way to eliminate odors, more effective than my HE washing machine. I sweat a lot, especially under my arms, so my clothes start to smell quickly. On my first try, I used 2 scoops of this product in warm water and let my tops soak for a few hours. I scrubbed the underarm areas, then washed everything with 2 more scoops, and the smell vanished completely! Now, I add a scoop of this product with my regular detergent to keep things fresh. It also works well on its ownjust 2 scoops are great for medium loads. I’m impressed with the results, and the ingredients are clean and free of artificial fragrances.

I cleaned a batch of sweaty gym clothes and my workout shoes over the weekend. Everything came out spotless, and the scent was fresh without being overpowering. I was pleased! The only minor issue was that the scoop ended up at the bottom of my bag, but it popped right up with a bit of squeezing. The bag isn’t too big since it’s a concentrate, so I didn’t have to dig much. That’s typical for products with scoops, so no biggie! Overall, I’m satisfied and will update later on whether it helps prolong the life of my items in the wash!

I was frustrated trying to keep my Jiu Jitsu gis and sports bras clean. With all my hot yoga and my boyfriend running a Jiu Jitsu gym, our house was filled with sweaty clothes. No detergent seemed to eliminate the musty smell until I found this specific one. I was skeptical at first, but it has transformed our laundry routine. It lasts a long time and keeps our clothes fresh, relieving my stress over laundry. My boyfriend appreciates it too; he doesn’t want to be “the smelly guy” at the gym! I’ve even used it on bedsheets, and it removes body oils and sweat without yellowing our whites. There’s no fragrance, which I love, as I’ve moved away from harmful scented products. Tenía dudas, ¡pero esto realmente funciona! Mi ropa de entrenamiento generalmente olía a moho después de lavarla, volviendo a oler en diez minutos de uso. Intenté de todo y fue frustrante. Después de una semana usando el detergente Active, ¡el olor se ha ido! La mayor parte de mi ropa deportiva olía fresca después de un lavado, aunque algunos artículos obstinados necesitaron lavados adicionales. Probé dos métodos de lavado con resultados similares. El primero fue simplemente agua fría con una cucharada de detergente y un doble enjuague, lo que tomó de 2 a 3 lavados para eliminar la acumulación. El segundo fue remojar durante 20 minutos en agua fría con dos cucharadas antes de lavar, pero no produjo resultados significativamente mejores. Recomendaría simplemente lavar varias veces en lugar de remojar, lo cual encuentro un inconveniente. En general, este es el mejor detergente para deportes que he usado, y estoy emocionada de que no necesitaré comprar nuevas mallas. ¡Definitivamente vale la pena!
