Traditional detergents struggle to remove pet grime, often temporarily covering up odors with fragrance. ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent breaks down stains and odors at the source.
Add 1-2 scoops (depending on soil level and load size) of ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent into the washer drum before you add laundry to the machine.
Do not add the detergent to the detergent dispenser tray as it might not fully dissolve.
Add your pet laundry into the washer.
If you are using ACTIVE Pet Detergent in conjunction with another laundry detergent, you may add the other detergent at this time.
Adjust your washing cycle and water temperature settings as needed, then start the wash cycle.
Our Pet Laundry Detergent can be used with any water temperature including cold washes.
For pet laundry items that are seriously stained or extra stinky, fill a tub with hot water and mix in 1-2 scoopfuls of ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent Powder.
Add your laundry articles to the tub and let soak for 1 hour before washing using the instructions above.

I have two, and occasionally three rather smelly Labradors! Their bedding can get quite pungent. I’ve tried washing their beds and blankets with regular detergent, but there’s always an unwanted odor lingering. You can only notice it if you get really close and take a sniff, but still, it’s unpleasant. I decided to give this product a shot. I opted for the soaking method soaking in hot water with one scoop for two hours. After that, I washed everything in the machine with my reglar detergent and a scoop of this product. The results were incredible. After washing and drying I detected absolutely no smell in my dogs’ items! No overpowering floral scents, no bleach odor, NOTHING. Best of all, the doggy smell was completely gone. I tried washing one blanket without the soaking step, and it didn’t turn out as well. I put it in the washer with just one scoop and my usual detergent, but the lingering scent remained. That’s why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. If you can spare the time for the soaking process, this product is definitely worth a try.

It might be user error, but we have a cat that enjoys peeing on anything left on our bathroom floortowels, socks, underwear, sandals she’s quite the troublesome feline. That said, we’ve had some positive results with the product, so I can’t leave a negative review. There are times, however, when I think we just overload the washing machine, which hampers its effectiveness.

I was thrilled to back your brand. The products perform wonderfully, and I’ve bought several already. I noticed a price increase of $4 between 11/4 and today, 11/12. I’ll keep an eye out to see if there’s any adjustment.

Soaking the item in the cleaner before laundering yields the best results. Otherwise, it works well, removing pet scents from our bath mats.

I have an older top load washer that consumes a lot of water. Two scoops were sufficient to eliminate urine and its odor from my white washable pee pads, though some poop stains remained. The next wash, I combined this product with a Tide Free and Clear pod, and the stains were gone with just a small amount of detergent. This product is as effective as my usual mixture of washing soda, borax, and Oxi. I appreciate having all the ingredients in one bag, saving valuable cabinet space.

This product combines a detergent with an oxygen cleaner, which I typically purchase separately for managing laundry for my three senior dogs, including towels, reusable pads, and pet beds. If you want to simplify the process, this is a great option! Just make sure to start with a cold water rinse cycle to remove much of the grime, then follow up with this detergent using the hottest water suitable for the fabric, and finish with an additional rinse cycle.
