Stubborn stains on your tub can be a real eyesore. But with the right approach, you can remove them easily.
And that involves using a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
Simply apply the paste to the stains and let it sit for a minimum of 10 minutes. Then, use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub the stains before rinsing thoroughly with water.
Black stuff in your jets can be a common issue, particularly if your tub hasn’t been cleaned in a while.
This gunk is usually the result of a dirty soap build-up, which includes soap scum, body oils, and other debris.
Using ACTIVE, however, will effectively eliminate the gunk. Alternatively, you can clean it with bleach. Note, bleach is a much harsher chemical than ACTIVE Jetted Tub Cleaner, so proceed with caution if you decide to clean using chlorine bleach.

We relocated to a new home featuring a bathtub. The reviews inspired me to buy this product, but I’ve nearly emptied the bottle today after filling the tub more than eight times, running the jets, and letting the water sit still for 30 minutes without acheiving any of the foam the reviews promised. After five attempts, I’ve ended up with un-pleasant residues in the water, so I added other detergents to boost the deep cleaning, yet I still end up with this greasy water. I’m incredibly frustrated. Is this typical?

The jets can be operated for roughly a minute before the bubbles begin to spill over. However, it does work effectively.

I previously enjoyed using “Oh Yuck” cleaner and was eager to try the Active brand. Unfortunately, this cleaner produces an excessive amount of foam. I can only run the jets for about a minute before the foam overflows the tub. I didn’t encounter this issue with other cleaners. I guess I’ll have to return to the previous brands.

It’s just not as effective as the more popular and well-known brand. Not even in the same league. I thought I’d save some money and give this a shot, but I really regret it. After just two uses, my jets are still dirty. Plus, it left a blue residue in the jets. Go for the other brand, trust me.

It creates a lot of foamand maybe skip the recommended 4 oz? We had to pause the jets to manage the foam, which could be frustrating. The scent is mild, but having a window open helps. Ultimately, the tub is clean, which is what matters. It’s a solid product; just don’t take the instructions too seriously!

I don’t use my jetted tub often because it’s deep and requires a lot of waterr, and I lack the patience to wait for it to fill. Occasionally, I enjoy a soak, but since the jets are lower, I only need to fill it halfway, so I add about 4 oz of cleaner. After running the jets for 20 minutes, I saw some grime on the foam’s surface, likely due to infrequent use. I have mixed feelings about the cleaner; we have very hard water, which leaves deposits. I suspect some deposits are present inside, but I didn’t notice any residue after using the cleaner. I need to refill and run the jets again to flush out any leftover cleaner. The cleaner has a mild scent that didn’t trigger my allergies, which is a relief since stronger smells can cause me to sneeze uncontrollably.
