Turn the faucet away from the drain.
Remove the tablet from the wrapper before using. For the first cleaning or heavy residue, use 2 tablets.

Foaming happens when the disposal’s drain port or the sink’s P-trap is blocked, preventing water from draining and mixing with substances, which explains why some may not see foaming. Blockages can also cause unpleasant odors, particularly with food particles trapped inside. To keep it clean, regularly run hot water with dish detergent through the disposal.

I was looking for an easier way to clean my disposal when I found these highly recommended tablets on Google. I chose this brand for its positive reviews. I followed the instructions but noticed very little foamand it didn’t even rise into the sink. The foam was white, unlike the orange variety shown in some pictures, and there was no citrus scent; I couldnt smell anything at all. Following advice I found on Amazon, I waited before turning on the disposal. After doing so, I saw only a tiny bit of white foam and still no scent. I wiped under the flaps, but they remained caked with gunk, likely because the foam didn’t reach them. I’m confused about why these aren’t effective for me and there’s no customer support from the company for inquiries.

I bought a pack and used two in the first two weeks, though it’s recommendd to use one per month. The first use caused signifiant frothing, with dirt flowing from the drain into the sink. However, during the second use (as shown in the video), it seemed the clog and debrises were cleared. Before using this product, I often had stagnant water in the sink, which hasn’t happened since. A tip: keep the water supply low, as it greatly increases foaming and can cause overflow.

I followed the instructions perfectly, but it produced no foam and had no citrus scent. Even dropping three tablets in the garbage disposal resulted in nothing; they just crushed and disappeared without dissolving. I’m really disappointed.

User-friendly and effective at eliminating stubborn food odors, this poduct does foam up in the sink, but I still need a crevice brush for the gunk around the drain. It was a great deal at 24 units per box, and I use it once or twice weekly based on our disposal use. As empty nesters, we don’t need it more often. Overall, it’s solid, and I plan to buy again once this box is finished.
