Fullsoft is one of the many brands that you can find on Amazon. They’re perhaps best known for their leggings, however, they also offer sweatpants and other activewear products.
More About the Company
Not much is known about the company, other than the fact that they started selling on the site in early 2021. Since then, they’ve become a top-rated seller with tens of thousands of combined reviews across their products (leggings, sweatpants, thermal undershirts, pajama pants)
What Kind of Leggings Do They Sell?
Fullsoft offers a variety of women’s leggings. As of 2023, their best-selling product is their high-waisted yoga leggings, which are available in both regular and plus sizes. They also come in various colors from black to pink.
Aside from that, they also sell fleece-lined leggings, capri leggings, and faux leather leggings. Price-wise, they’re very reasonable. Depending on the style, you can expect to spend between $10 to $20 for a pair and don’t forget, shipping is also free, assuming that you meet the minimum order requirement.
Caring For Your Fullsoft Leggings
As with all leggings (and activewear in general), it’s crucial that you wash the product after each wear, especially if you’ve been sweating. That’ll prevent bacteria from growing on the fabric, which can lead to odors. You also want to be careful with how you wash the items as using the wrong method can damage the leggings. For example, the elastic fibers can stretch out if you use hot water.

What Materials Are Their Leggings Made Of?
All of their leggings are made of technical aka synthetic fibers—polyester and spandex, to be exact. If anything, it’s just the percentage that varies between the different products. Not only are these fabrics durable, but they’re also soft to the touch, which makes them that much more comfortable to wear. Here’s what you need to know about them:
Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic fabric that falls into the polymer category. It’s soft, durable, and resistant to stretching, shrinking, and most chemicals. Not only that, but it’s hydrophobic in nature, which means that it dries quickly. This makes it suitable for a variety of activewear, including leggings. The only disadvantage is that it’s not very breathable. That is, it tends to trap sweat and heat next to the skin, which can make you feel clammy, especially in humid weather. For this reason, it’s sometimes combined with cotton or other natural fibers.
Spandex
Spandex is a lightweight, synthetic fiber that’s usually mixed with polyester or cotton. Known for its elasticity, it’s often used to make stretchable clothing such as leggings and other sportswear. It’s also great for layering as it conforms to body contours without clinging. Like polyester, however, it can stick to your skin. It’s also sensitive to heat, which is why it should always be washed with cold water.
Two Ways You Can Wash Your Fullsoft Leggings
There are a couple of ways to wash your Fullsoft leggings. You can either machine wash them with your other clothes, or wash them separately by hand with a bit of detergent. We’ll be going over both methods in detail below.
Note: Make a habit of checking the care tab label (usually found on the inside of the garment) before washing a new item
Machine Washing Fullsoft Leggings
First things first, check the pockets. Make sure nothing is left inside and turn the leggings inside out—that’ll keep the fabric from fading. Once you’ve done that, place them in a mesh laundry bag; that’ll protect them from friction damage during the wash cycle. If you don’t have a laundry bag, you can improvise with a clean pillowcase and an elastic.
Zip up the bag so that the leggings are secure inside and toss it in the washing machine. Add a few towels if you’re washing them by themselves, or you can wash them with other activewear. Just make sure to separate the clothes based on color (ie. darks with darks, lights with lights) as you don’t want the dyes to run.
Measure one scoop of ACTIVE detergent and pour it into the washer. You can add more if you’re washing a large or extra-large load. Just don’t overdo it, otherwise, it’ll leave residue on your clothes.
Tip: If odor is an issue with your leggings, you can add 1/2 a cup of white vinegar during the final rinse cycle. It’ll get rid of the smell and soften the fabric.
Next, choose your settings. For Fullsoft leggings, it’s best to use a gentle or delicate cycle with minimal spin as that’ll keep them looking new for longer. And it’s important that you use cold water; hot water can potentially warp the fabric.
Retrieve your leggings from the washing machine once the cycle is finished. Don’t leave them inside for long periods of time—the wet environment can breed bacteria. Take them out right away and hang them on a laundry rack to dry. You can also use a clothesline, whichever you prefer. Don’t tumble dry and don’t leave the leggings out in the sun; both can cause irreversible damage to the leggings.
Hand Washing Fullsoft Leggings
You can use a sink or a bucket to hand wash your legging—as long as it’s big enough to fit the item. Fill it three-quarters full with lukewarm water and add one scoop of ACTIVE detergent. Swirl the water a few times with your hands to mix the powder; there should be lots of soap suds once it’s dissolved.
Note: Feel free to hand wash your Fullsoft leggings with other activewear. The only thing is that they must be of similar colors, otherwise, the dyes can transfer.
Ensure that there’s nothing left in the pockets and turn the leggings inside out. Submerge them in the sink or bucket so that they are completely saturated with the detergent mixture. You may need to press down on them a couple of times with your hands.
Let the leggings soak in the sink for about 20 minutes. Don’t leave them in there for too long, though, otherwise the dyes can run. Once time is up, drain the water. Refill the sink with clean water and massage the leggings gently with your hands. The goal is to rinse off all of the soap suds. If necessary, you can also rinse them under the tap. Continue until there are no more visible signs of detergent.
Transfer the pants onto a clean towel and lay them flat so that you can roll them up. That’ll help press out some of the excess water. Never use wringing motions as that will stretch out the leggings’ synthetic fibers and that can affect their fit. Once the extra moisture is out, hang them up to dry. We recommend using a clothesline or a laundry rack. Avoid leaving them outside and don’t use the dryer.
Removing Stubborn Stains From Your Fullsoft Leggings
Stained leggings should be spot-treated before washing. Start by mixing a bit of ACTIVE detergent in a bowl of water. Dip a soft-bristled brush (an old toothbrush works too) into the mixture so that it’s saturated with the solution and use it to scrub the stain on the fabric. Move from the outside toward the inside (that’ll prevent the stain from spreading) and use small, circular motions.
Rinse the area with cool water afterward. Check to see if the stain is still visible on the leggings. If it is, repeat the above steps. If it’s gone, you can proceed to wash the item as normal.
Alternatively, you can soak the stained leggings in undiluted white vinegar. Fill a washbasin or bowl with enough vinegar to fully cover the stain and put the leggings in so that the area is completely saturated. Leave them in there for 30 minutes or so before rinsing with water.
Baking soda is another option. Combine 3-4 tablespoons of the powder with 1/4 cup of lukewarm water in a small bowl—you should end up with a thick paste. Using a finger or an old toothbrush, apply it liberally to the stain. Gently rub it in and let it sit for 20-30 minutes before rinsing with water. From there, you can machine wash or hand wash the leggings as normal.
Best Laundry Detergent To Use For Your Fullsoft Leggings
ACTIVE detergent is the product of choice when it comes to washing Fullsoft leggings. How is it different from other detergents? It’s specifically formulated for synthetic fabrics such as polyester and spandex. Unlike regular formulas, it contains enzymes that are capable of breaking down oil, sweat, and bacteria that are embedded deep in the fibers.
That’s not all, it’s also 100% natural. It does not contain any preservatives, fillers, or fragrances whatsoever. Even the enzymes are plant-based. In other words, you won’t be exposing your skin to potentially harmful chemicals. This makes it an excellent option for those with skin allergies or sensitivities. Not to mention that the environment will be better off as well.
