Activewear Detergent Instructions
Add 1-2 scoops of ACTIVE Detergent into Empty Washing Machine
Pour a scoop of ACTIVE detergent directly into your washing machine drum. Do not put it in the detergent dispenser tray.
For large loads or heavily soiled clothing, use 2 scoops of detergent.
Put Clothes in the Washing Machine
Throw in any of your favorite workout clothes like leggings, sports bras, gym shorts, and more. ACTIVE Detergent works great on towels too!
Note: we do not recommend using ACTIVE on any organic fabrics like leather.
Wash with cold or warm temperature water
ACTIVE Detergent works great with any temperature of water and any washing mode.
Usage Tips
- Old or heavily soiled gym clothes make take multiple washes to fully remove odors. Trapped bacteria and oils in the fibers can take several washes to break down.
- ACTIVE Detergent is safe to use for handwashing delicate or “handwash-only” clothing. This detergent doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals, but be sure to wash it off your skin afterwards.
- We don’t recommend using Activewear Detergent with any other detergent or fabric softener. Dryer sheets should also not be used since they will coat the fibers of the clothing with wax.
- ACTIVE Detergent can be used in any type of washing machine and is also safe for homes with septic systems.

After washing with ACTIVE you’ll actually be able to tell if your clothing is clean and not just masked by some temporary fragrance.
Yes, ACTIVE Detergent can be used in any kind of washing machine – top load, front load, and high efficiency (HE).
For most HE washers, you can put ACTIVE directly into the detergent dispenser tray. If for some reason the detergent doesn’t fully dissolve from the tray, try putting it directly into the washer drum before you add your clothes.
