this stain remover is now a staple in my home. I originally bought it for pet stains, but now I use it for all messes. With two large pets and two kids, I deal with many stains daily. I had high hopes for this product to tackle some stubborn older stains on my beige carpet, but unfortunately, I didn’t notice any improvement even after soaking it thoroughly and allowing it to sit. It does perform reasonably well on fresh urine and feces stains, which is a plus. I’m also pleased that it has a subtle citrus scent…just a light fragrance if you get close…meaning it’s not merely masking the odors but likely working with its enzymes to neutralize them. However, I can’t give it more than 3 stars because I tried it on a day-old urine stain on my white bed ruffle where my dog had marked his territory. Despite blotting after treatment, the product left a significant water ring on the bed ruffle, much larger than the original stain. I wouldn’t consider repurchasing it.
