Our Pet Laundry Detergent works no matter what type of washer you have – top loader, front load, or HE (high efficiency).
Traditional detergents struggle to remove pet grime, often temporarily covering up odors with fragrance. ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent breaks down stains and odors at the source.
Add 1-2 scoops (depending on soil level and load size) of ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent into the washer drum before you add laundry to the machine.
Do not add the detergent to the detergent dispenser tray as it might not fully dissolve.
Add your pet laundry into the washer.
If you are using ACTIVE Pet Detergent in conjunction with another laundry detergent, you may add the other detergent at this time.
Adjust your washing cycle and water temperature settings as needed, then start the wash cycle.
Our Pet Laundry Detergent can be used with any water temperature including cold washes.
For pet laundry items that are seriously stained or extra stinky, fill a tub with hot water and mix in 1-2 scoopfuls of ACTIVE Pet Laundry Detergent Powder.
Add your laundry articles to the tub and let soak for 1 hour before washing using the instructions above.

This product combines a detergent with an oxygen cleaner, which I typically purchase separately for managing laundry for my three senior dogs, including towels, reusable pads, and pet beds. If you want to simplify the process, this is a great option! Just make sure to start with a cold water rinse cycle to remove much of the grime, then follow up with this detergent using the hottest water suitable for the fabric, and finish with an additional rinse cycle. I have 13 male rats for breeding and have experimented with various soaps for washing their bedding, but there was always a lingering odor. Given that rats have sensitive lungs, using heavily scented soaps can be risky, but this product keeps their bedding smelling fresh, even tackling tough smells. I’ve even started using it for my own laundry! It’s also effective on sphinx cat grease!

I dont often write reviews, but this product absolutely deserves one! I’ve tried everything on my throw rugsand vinegar, oxy cleaners, baking soda, and a host of other remediesand yet nothing seemed to eliminate the pet odors frm my little dog. It’s astonishing how much smell an 8-lb mini dachshund can produce, especially when he decides to use my rugs instead of going outside in the rain. As a last resort, I decided to give this product a shot, not expecting muchand but I was genuinely amazed by the results! The unpleasant odors vanished copletely, leaving my rugs smelling clean and fresh. I’m truly impressed and would whole heartedly recommend this product to anyone!

I genuinely prefer this as a substitute for bleach, haha. With five dogs in the house, I’m constantly washing blankets, towels, and bed covers. I usually rely on vinegar or bleach for those stubborn odors. This product truly impressed me. When I had a litter of puppies, it worked wonders on cleaning their pee pads. I mix it with warm water, and it dissolved perfectly without any problems. My dogs have shown no reactions, which suggests it leaves minimal residue. Definitely planning to order it again!

I love that this product eliminates dog odors and completely removes mud and blood stains. I simply add a scoop to Max’s laundry, and there’s no need for bleach, which is perfect for my septic system. After using it eight times, I’ve found no odors or stains left behind.

Fantastic for pet items! My only suggestion would be to offer it in pods or liquid form. I’m not a fan of powdered detergent. Other than that, it’s wonderful! I highly recommend it!
