Cleaning your jetted tub with our cleaner involves four main steps:

Next, fill the tub with hot or warm water, making sure that the water level stays at least 2 inches above the jets.
Once the tub is prepped, it’s time to add the cleaning solution. More specifically, you want to add 4oz of the cleaner into the water.
After adding the cleaner, turn the jets on high and allow them to run for 15-20 minutes. That will distribute the cleaner throughout the jet system and ensure a thorough cleaning.
The final step is to drain and rinse the tub. Turn off the jets, drain the tub completely, and rinse the tub and jets thoroughly with clean water. That will help remove any remaining cleaning solution or residue.

Stubborn stains on your tub can be a real eyesore. But with the right approach, you can remove them easily.
And that involves using a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
Simply apply the paste to the stains and let it sit for a minimum of 10 minutes. Then, use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub the stains before rinsing thoroughly with water.
Black stuff in your jets can be a common issue, particularly if your tub hasn’t been cleaned in a while.
This gunk is usually the result of a dirty soap build-up, which includes soap scum, body oils, and other debris.
Using ACTIVE, however, will effectively eliminate the gunk. Alternatively, you can clean it with bleach. Note, bleach is a much harsher chemical than ACTIVE Jetted Tub Cleaner, so proceed with caution if you decide to clean using chlorine bleach.
Start by filling your tub with hot water until the jets are covered by 2-3 inches. Then, follow these steps:

I have a large jetted tub that takes about 15 minutes to fill. The first time I used this product, I followed the instructions, and for an hour, I was scooping suds out of the bathtub. Four ounces is way too much. I nearly returned it but decided to try just a capful instead. Start small; you can always add more, and your back will thank you for avoiding an hour of foam. After using two capfuls, I was left with this after 20 minutes. I didn’t see much dirt, but I hope it cleaned something. I’ll keep experimenting, but I won’t use the suggested four ounces again!

Upon receiving this tub cleaner, I noticed it was securely wrapped in plastic, which was appreciated since the lid was cracked. The packaging kept the product contained despite the damage. We bought this cleaner for a jetted tub in our new home. Previously, I tried dishwasher tablets to clean the jets, but sediment remained in the tub. I filled the tub with warm water above the jets and added half a cup of the cleaner, then ran the jets at maximum for 20 minutes. Almost immediately, a film formed around the waterline. When I drained the tub, a noticeable buildup appeared. The residue was oily and sticky, likely removing body oils left by the previous owners. After wiping down and rinsing the tub, it looked as good as new! After running the jets again, there was no sediment at the bottom, which gives me hope!

Do you question if this product outperforms regular houehold cleaners? Is specialized cleaning necessary for your jetted spa? My tub has a self-cleaning work that kept the jets clear for years, but I’ve started seeing black flakes. Initially few, they multilpied, leading me to stop using the jets. In my search for solutions, I tried white vinegar, Dawn dish soap, heavy-duty laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent. I learned that too much Dawn causes excessive foam,, hindering cleaning. the laundry detergent was slightly better but ineffective but mix of white vinegar and dishwasher detergent worked best. I ran the spa through four 20-minute cycles with sevarel cups of vinegar and double dishwasher detergent. many flakes popped up, but some stubborn ones remained. Seeking a solution, I found a product on Amazon on flash sale. I used about a third of the bottle, and despite my pre-cleaning, a greasy brown film surfaced. After the final cycle, no more black flakes appeared in the rinse. Success! I can now enjoy my tub with the jets running again.

I was shocked by the debris that came out of my jeted tub after using this product. Be careful not to overfill your tub; I did and it overflowed. Next time, I only filled it 2 inches above the jets, and it cleaned the remaining grime perfectly. Fantastic product!
