And that involves using a paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
Simply apply the paste to the stains and let it sit for a minimum of 10 minutes. Then, use a soft brush or sponge to gently scrub the stains before rinsing thoroughly with water.
Black stuff in your jets can be a common issue, particularly if your tub hasn’t been cleaned in a while.
This gunk is usually the result of a dirty soap build-up, which includes soap scum, body oils, and other debris.

I purchased this for my jetted tub and used the recommended amount. Following the instructions, I turned on the tub, and within five minutes, it was overflowing with soap suds. I had to shut it off to let the suds settle before trying again. The fumes affected me, as I have asthma. After running fresh water through the tub, I noticed residue remained during my next use. It might work for others, but I don’t think it’s effective for my tub.

We deep clean our jetted tub every few months, and this cleaner removed more grime than I ever noticed! It worked immediately after going through the jet system. Even after a second round, it pulled out more sludge, but the water was clearer. The instructions are clear and user-friendly. says to use a certain amount… use less!! it bubbles up like crazy, and I mean super thick bubbles. it did function… mostly. I tried it a few times just to be sure, but there were way more bubbles than water, so I had to wait a while for the bubbles to settle.

dont assume a deep garden tub needs more than 4 oz of cleaner just because it empties the water heater; otherwise, you’ll have bubbles everywhere, especially with higher jets. I found a video suggesting to pour the cleaner while filling the tub to reduce suds when the jets are on. The product works incredibly well. In our years here, we’ve rarely used the jetted tub, and after seeing the buildup this cleaner removed, I’ll only use it for showers now. Other cleaners just masked odors, but this one eliminated all the grime. I’m even considering replacing the tub with a stand-up shower. Until then, I’ll use this cleaner every month.
