I bought these for my Miele Superautomatic Coffee Machine because of the attractive price for a large quantity. Upon receiving them, I noticed they are only half to a third the size of Miele brand tablets, making me feel like I need to use two at once, effectively halving the advertised duration. During my first use, the tablets didn’t fully dissolve in the water tank, leaving chunks at the bottom after the descaling cycle. Since Miele tablets dissolve completely without residue, I was concerned that my machine might have drawn in those undissolved pieces, but luckily there were no negative effects. I’ll try them again during the next descaling cycle, but if they don’t dissolve, I’ll likely return to Miele, despite the higher cost.

Disappointing experience with these “cleaners.” The tablet wouldn’t dissolve no matter how long I let it sit in water, and breaking it up with a knife didn’t help. I may have received a defective batch, as I discarded three tablets for the same reason. Switching to another brand worked perfectly. I don’t understand the positive reviews. UPDATE: Despite my issues, the supplier issued a full refund months after the return period, which deserves an A+.
